Many people live quite fast paced and hectic day-to-day lives. That's simply life today. But then again we really don't need to be satisfied with frozen dinners or some other tasteless meals in a box. Not any longer. The crock pot was designed mainly for everyone having busy lives who also would like excellent dishes. You'll find hundreds of easy slow cooker recipes which you could make in the morning and have a great home made dinner at night. It's effortless and uncomplicated. Where I live, we have humid, hot, sticky summers where the last thing I want to do is turn on my oven or fire up my gas stove, much less spend time standing around them preparing meals! During the summer I don't crave meals like chicken and dumplings, lasagna, beef stew, or pork roast. I want light meals with little or no preparation so I'm not standing in a hot kitchen getting even warmer and stickier. So, I use my crock pot! Out of any of the cooking devices in your kitchen, it sets off very little heat and can allow you to put everything into the slow cooker slow cooked leg of lamb slow cooker in the morning (when your kitchen is cool) and spoon it up at dinnertime (when your kitchen is not). Who doesn't love Fried Pork Chops? My concern in Stop #3 was eclecticism rather than taste. I'm a fried-foods junkie, and I wanted something that deviated from the standard breaded-'n-fried norm - I get enough of that as is. So I coated my pork chops in cayenne pepper, paprika and garlic, and pan-fried in butter and oil. Not the most low-calorie slow cooked leg of lamb dishes, but it more than satisfied me. They'll slow cooker leg of lamb tell you to limit fruit to low sugar varieties like apples strawberries pears and etc. Apples are good for the fiber if you leave the peel on.They do have some carbs so you'll have to limit them. And don't drink juice it's loaded with sugar.Make sure to eat when you're hungry and don't skip meals. Here are a few snack ideas to get you started. One last thing to remember: if you're going leg of lamb aga put food into your refrigerator right after preparing it, let it cool a bit. Otherwise, the food will be warm when you put it in your refrigerator, giving bacteria an opportunity to grow. I don't know how many fellow flexitarians there are out there, but the club is definitely growing. It's part of the modern urban package of running, yoga and green tea. Never in my wildest dreams did I see myself sit down willingly to a vegetarian stir-fry. Then again I never pictured myself doing yoga either, until I tried it. I love meat, and I'm a flexitarian.
